Cymric (schooner)[edit]

  • The extraordinary story of a small Arklow Schooner (ship) requisitioned by the Royal Navy which achieved notoriety when she mistook a RN submarine for a U-boat and sank it, and then collided with a Tram.
  • Comment: this article has potential for other dyk

  • Interesting and well researched article. Length, creation date and hook citation seem fine if we use the hook:
  • ... that in November 1929, the schooner Cymric collided with a tram in Dublin? Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:00, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
  • It was pointed out to me that the date was 1921, I've amended the hook in the queue to give the correct year. Mjroots (talk) 14:06, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
