Source: "The outlines and a few selected areas of the designs were first painted in underglaze blue, after which the pieces were glazed, fired, and cooled in the usual way. The overglaze colours were painted on within the confines of the blue outlines to create a jewel-like effect." This article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts are well cited, the article is neutral, and neither Earwig nor I could find any significant copyright problems. The image was taken by the nominator and my only quibble is with the caption, which does not agree with that given in the article. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 07:03, 14 November 2016 (UTC)
