Overall: Interesting hook you found for Margueritte and you did a great job over the past two years in making this article. Jon698 talk 21:02, 28 September 2020 (UTC)

  • Hi, I came by to promote this and first wikified the article (you could do that before nominating it). I find the hook rather flat. Could you highlight an interesting detail from the article? Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 14:30, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
  • Yoninah I thought I already did per myself and the reviewer. I'm not sure what your side comment is about because I didn't realize it needed any wikifying.
  • ALT1: ... that a children's book by American writer Margueritte Harmon Bro was recommended for use in elementary schools in 1972 by the Arkansas Department of Education in relation to learning about ethnic groups? SL93 (talk) 15:05, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
  • I'm saying that it took me longer than normal to invert all the period/quote marks. Yoninah (talk) 15:08, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
  • Yoninah I would have been glad to fix the issue if you asked me too. Thanks for editing the article though. What do you think of ALT1 and should I ping Jon698 to see if they want to review it? SL93 (talk) 15:12, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
  • @SL93: Thank you. I generally try to fix the issues that I can when promoting, but then I ran into the hook interest problem. ALT1 is okay, but a little wordy. What do you think about:
  • ALT2: ... that Coronet magazine was deluged with letters and phone calls when Margueritte Harmon Bro wrote about the "Miracle Man of Virginia Beach"? Yoninah (talk) 15:18, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
  • Yoninah I like that one, but maybe Coronet magazine should be linked? I just noticed that it has an article at Coronet (magazine). I will link it in the article now. SL93 (talk) 15:20, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
  • Yes, thanks. Yoninah (talk) 15:21, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
  • I'm marking this for a review of ALT2. Pinging Jon698 just in case the original reviewer wants to take care of it. SL93 (talk) 15:25, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
  • Approving Alt2. --evrik (talk) 16:27, 11 October 2020 (UTC)
