  • Symbol question.svg Full review to follow, but per recent discussions over at WT:DYK, it might be for the best to drop ALT2 as there have been many complaints about there being many "X is the first female Y" hooks as of late. Of the two hooks, I have a preference for ALT0; ALT1 is okay, but I wonder if there would be a way to avoid mentioning "Arkansas" twice in the hook. @Narutolovehinata5: For the other hooks how about:

Problem is that there are multiple cities named Little Rock, and I'm not sure if it's clear which Little Rock I'm referring to. As for the first elected versus first appointed, I can rewrite it without mentioning "first":

The encyclopedia of Arkansas incorrectly has her start year as 1995, but it should be 1994. I've tweaked the article to correct this issue. --MrLinkinPark333 (talk) 20:42, 3 November 2019 (UTC)

I really don't think ALT2a could work either, since in the end it's still basically a "first female X" hook (with first replaced with second), and while personally I'd be fine with such hooks and even like them most of the time, many over at WT:DYK don't and would likely object if it was approved. ALT1a is okay but ALT0 is still the most quirky I think. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 22:42, 3 November 2019 (UTC)
@Narutolovehinata5: No worries then. It's a bit complex anyways for ALT2/ALT2a. If you prefer Alt0 or 1, then that's fine with me. --MrLinkinPark333 (talk) 22:55, 3 November 2019 (UTC)
  • Symbol question.svg Article is new enough, long enough, and adequately sourced. No close paraphrasing was found, and a QPQ has been done. ALT0 and ALT1a are both cited inline and verified, and are both acceptable; my preference is ALT0, but either hook can be promoted. The only concern is that ALT0's reference doesn't come after the part mentioning her birth in Montreal, but rather a little later into the article; the footnote needs to be duplicated for DYK purposes. • @Narutolovehinata5: Well, as both sentences are cited to the same source I thought it'd redundant. But in any sense, I've done what you've requested. --MrLinkinPark333 (talk) 01:55, 5 November 2019 (UTC)
