  • Symbol question.svg New (11th), long enough, within policy, no copyvio found via tool, QPQ done. Hook doesn't have an immediate ref in article (see 3b). Please ping me if I don't respond. czar  19:33, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
@Czar: It's directly cited now. Thanks! Keilana|Parlez ici 01:46, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
Great—thanks. Sorry to do this, but it still needs a little tweaking. The source refers to genes and not DNA/RNA specifically, so the article should be updated accordingly to reflect the sources. Also the article doesn't reflect the source that the hybridization technique was done with Gall. (As written, the Ph.D. and the hybridization work could have been two separate and unrelated things.) Also it's not so great that the "first discovery" claim is coming from her own bio page (SPS), but I wouldn't reject the hook for that, although perhaps you can find a better source. All surmountable. czar  02:17, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
Surprise! I found a picture for you. Just had to ask to change the license. czar  13:00, 26 October 2013 (UTC)
  • Symbol possible vote.svg I have just pinged the creator's talk page (which hadn't been done earlier). Looking for action within a week's time on the issues czar mentioned above. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:21, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
  • Oops, hadn't seen this. Thanks for the ping and for the picture! I'll take care of this sometime today or tomorrow when I have a moment. Keilana|Parlez ici 06:04, 9 November 2013 (UTC)

Okay. Hi Czar, thanks for your review and thank you for the image! I've clarified the article to show that Gall and Gerbi worked together to develop in situs. I know the source says that in situs show genes but it is more accurate to say that it shows RNA and DNA transcripts - I can cite this to a standard genetics textbook when I get home from DivCon if you want but given that the article on in situ hybridization says that it localizes DNA and RNA in tissues, I think it's okay. Symbol confirmed.svg Hook is sourced, so this is gtg, but consider using a sturdier (secondary) source than her Brown bio (for such a claim), if you know of one that exists. Good work czar  14:21, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
