  • Basically everything is in order. The date and length of the article are OK, length of the hook OK, hook fact verified by an in-line cite to an online ref (NYT article). Article is well-referenced and there are no other problems that I could see. The article and the hook do sound a little technical (e.g. most readers would have to look up the link explaining meaning of mutualistic relationship), but within reasonable bounds.
