Note: the only reason some of the masses are not linked right now is that a decision hasn't been made as to what the article title should be made and the articles haven't been created yet.

Usage[edit]

Initial visibility

To set the template's initial visibility, the |state= parameter may be used:

  • |state=collapsed: {{Mozart masses|state=collapsed}} to show the template collapsed, i.e., hidden apart from its title bar
  • |state=expanded: {{Mozart masses|state=expanded}} to show the template expanded, i.e., fully visible
  • |state=autocollapse: {{Mozart masses|state=autocollapse}}
    • shows the template collapsed to the title bar if there is a {{navbar}}, a {{sidebar}}, or some other table on the page with the collapsible attribute
    • shows the template in its expanded state if there are no other collapsible items on the page

If the |state= parameter is not set, the template's initial visibility is taken from the |default= parameter in the template. For this template, that currently evaluates to autocollapse.

For articles on the individual masses by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and for the list of masses. Generally to be placed at the bottom of those pages.

Because of several chronological disagreements regarding the composition of these masses, it is perhaps best here to rely on key and Köchel number to identify each mass, leaving it to the specific articles to expound on the details of the different opinions as to when each mass was composed.
