Purpose[edit]

This template enables the attribution of text copied from copyright expired articles in The New Student's Reference Work in the manner of {{cite encyclopedia}}. The article title can have a Wikisource link.

Usage[edit]

Currently supported parameters are a subset of those in {{Cite NSRW}} they are:

wstitle=article title — for articles available on Wikisource
title=article title — for articles not currently available on Wikisource
ref=refid — defaults to "harv" but can be altered
mode=mode  — defaults to cs1 but can be changed see (Help:CS1)
noicon=1  — to turn off the leading icon
inline=1 —  for appropriate wording when this template is used inline
vb=x — defaults to "x" can not be altered use be altered {{Cite NSRW}} instead

Example[edit]

{{Cite NSRW|wstitle=Schurz, Carl}}

displays as:

Beach, Chandler B., ed. (1914). "Schurz, Carl" . The New Student's Reference Work . Chicago: F. E. Compton and Co.
