Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]

This is a simple navigation template based on {{Navbox}} that takes an optional state parameter:

{{Peak oil}}

The template is suitable for transcluding at the bottoms of articles relating to Peak oil.

How to manage this template's initial visibility
To manage this template's visibility when it first appears, add the parameter:

|state=collapsed to show the template in its collapsed state, i.e. hidden apart from its titlebar – e.g. {{Peak oil |state=collapsed}}
|state=expanded to show the template in its expanded state, i.e. fully visible – e.g. {{Peak oil |state=expanded}}
|state=autocollapse to show the template in its collapsed state but only if there is another template of the same type on the page – e.g. {{Peak oil |state=autocollapse}}

Unless set otherwise (see the |state= parameter in the template's code), the template's default state is autocollapse.

This template links to articles detailing the major issues or main social ramifications that develop from peak oil. This includes leading books and films about peak oil, notable people who are experts on the topic, and organizations which track oil production and publish information relating to peak oil.

The template does not deviate too far into related energy topics. See the other navigation templates in the See also section.
