The {{WikiProject Chile}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. Adding this template to a talk page will automatically add the page to Category:WikiProject Chile articles. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax is as follows:

{{WikiProject Chile
|class           =
|importance      =
|attention       =
<!-- B-Class parameters -->
|B-Class-1       =
|B-Class-2       =
|B-Class-3       =
|B-Class-4       =
|B-Class-5       =
|B-Class-6       =
<!-- Other parameters -->
|trans-ES        =
|small           =
|listas          =

Basic Usage

To avoid needlessly cluttering up talk pages, it is usually appropriate to remove any unused parameters from the template. A common initial configuration for the banner includes only a few parameters:

{{WikiProject Chile |class=  |importance =  |listas =  }}

  • class - The assessed article class.
    • "NA" - non-article pages
    • "List" - lists
  • importance - The priority/importance to assign the article. Non-article pages ignore this value. To force an ignore, set this parameter to "NA"
B-Class checklist parameters

Use these parameters for articles rated as "Stub-Class", "Start-Class", or "B-Class". Mark each line with "yes" if the article meets the criterion or "no" if it does not. See the Chile assessment department and Wikipedia's B-Class criteria for more information.

  • B-Class-1 – Criterion #1: "The article is suitably referenced, with inline citations where necessary."
  • B-Class-2 – Criterion #2: "The article reasonably covers the topic, and does not contain obvious omissions or inaccuracies."
  • B-Class-3 – Criterion #3: "The article has a defined structure."
  • B-Class-4 – Criterion #4: "The article is reasonably well-written."
  • B-Class-5 – Criterion #5: "The article contains supporting materials where appropriate."
  • B-Class-6 – Criterion #6: "The article presents its content in an appropriately accessible way."
Other parameters
  • trans-ES - "yes" to add the article to Category:Chile articles needing translation from Spanish Wikipedia
  • small - "yes" to generate a smaller, right-aligned message box. The default is "no".
  • listas - This parameter is used for articles whose title is in the first part of the article, i.e. Prince George of England, you can instead have listas=George of England, Prince -- so that it will show up in the G's.
