General parameters:

  • auto - optional, denotes when it was rated as a stub by a bot, if you come across it in an article then follow the instructions shown on the template. Stub article must be marked as "Stub" (note the capital S) for this parameter to work.
  • bio - optional, put yes if it is a biographical article.
  • class – a rating of the article's quality; see the assessment department for more details.
  • needs-infobox - optional, put "yes" for articles requiring infoboxes.
  • needs-image - optional, put "yes" for articles requiring images. If bio is set to yes then it will place articles in a specific category for people needing images otherwise it goes in a generic ice hockey articles needing images folder.

  • old-peer-review - optional, put yes if it has been under peer review in the past.
