Virtually all stub templates have a known spacing problem, and people have simply learned to space stub templates with 2 blank lines in the article after whatever precedes them (usually categories), to keep them from butting up against the content when the page is rendered. If you do this in the template itself, it is going to make it hard to get the spacing correct someday when the spacing problem in the templates is fixed by a bot, and the doublespacing in the articles removed by a bot, because this template and its usage in articles will no longer be consistent with the rest of them. — SMcCandlish [talk] [cont]‹(-¿-)› 21:04, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
