Image pairing idea: A single icon representing a old handheld telescope. --[[User:AllyUnion|AllyUnion (talk)]] 08:38, 28 Nov 2004 (UTC)

New image[edit]

I'm order to avoid an edit war, let's discuss changes to the stub icon here. My proposal:

Status File name Image
Current Crab Nebula.jpg Crab Nebula.jpg
Proposed P space.svg P space.svg

I think the P space.svg should be used because its transparency allows it to blend seamlessly with each page, regardless of background color, and provides a scalable and simplified metaphor.

That's just wrong, that's the logo for WP:WikiProject Space. WP:ASTRONOMY is a different project. WP:SPACE uses that representation on their banner {{WPSpace}} and has its own stub template {{space-stub}} . You should not be mixing up two different wikiprojects by mixing and matching their logos. Please see WT:AST#stub templates for further discussion, as the WikiProject has a discussion section for this already; and has had for a week. (talk) 05:56, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
