when there is an abandoned station, it is separate from the main tracks. were these stations actually on a different route to the right of the main one or should they be replaced by ?

well most stations have multiple tracks some of which have become abandoned when the station closes but all the trains use one set of main tracks that goes along the same route and passes right thru where the former station was at, ideally i think we should have a logo for new stations that is separate from old/abandoned stations or even one that points to its successor replacement station.MYINchile 21:05, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good idea, but this is already the established system. That would have come in handy years ago. ideally doesn't matter, what should be done in before this symbol comes into use?

is there anything we can do about those annoying splices between the blue muni portion, while still having the T N and S information on a different line so as not to overly widen the column?MYINchile 21:06, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Only splitting the different muni lines into different rows, so that each row olny shows one muni line diverging.
what if we had just a single line of track without a station or anything and the info could be split between this line and the preceding one?MYINchile 22:16, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds doable. Just end each line with "and" to show that there is a continuation.Tlantanu (talk) 04:27, 27 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Highways[edit]

@71.198.231.208: Please explain exactly what highways have to do with this diagram. There is nothing in the article about there relationship to the route, and you edit summary “Highways do have something to do with the location” is too vague. Useddenim (talk) 02:00, 12 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Salinas station opening date[edit]

The template says Salinas station is opening in 2020. Does anyone have any evidence for this? I was under the impression that the project wasn't that far along. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:E000:1314:8F3C:78E8:7557:A316:D283 (talk) 06:42, 26 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
