Jewish Roman wars[edit]

The naming of Jewish-Roman wars is not descriptive - this is a name to three specific conflicts:

  • The Great Revolt
  • Kitos War
  • Bar Kokhba revolt

Some sources do not count Kitos war as part of Jewish-Roman wars, but as part of Parthian-Roman wars. However, the conflicts certainly do not include Revolt against Gallus (though it was fought against Romans), or Jewish revolt against Hercalius (against Byzantines) - those were separate events.

Jewish-Roman wars was a continuous period of strife between Jews and Roman Empire, lasting for a period of 3 generations.Greyshark09 (talk) 19:31, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
