collapse top ?[edit]

Can we collapse this template box, as in, -- {|collapse top --? This is a list which does not give information immediately germaine to the topic. Anyone wishing to see the extent of the admirable scope and array of Wikipedia entries related to the subject would still be able to toggle at will.

The user interested in researching the topic, and not so much the expanse of wikipedia articles, will otherwise find this feature a visual distraction, taking away from the experience, not adding to it. I find it fascinating, but then I also like to know what the word count is, so I am not a typical general reader.

I do think that the list belongs right at the top, just below the infobox. For the researcher who wants a quick jump off to a related battle, whether that be by the researchers' interest in chronology, geography, commander, or unit, the campaignbox as featured expedites access to existing Wikipedia articles at a one-click that can't be beat. I would just have us modify the visual presentation on the page. TheVirginiaHistorian (talk) 11:32, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
