adding "338" in the table[edit]

I would like to add "338" to the table to reflect the fact that 338 members will be elected in this upcoming election, up from the current 308.

I have put the idea up for discussion at Talk:42nd Canadian federal election (because that is the only place where this template is transcluded) -- P.T. Aufrette (talk) 06:10, 4 February 2012 (UTC)

left/right[edit]

The left/right labels are not appropriate to be in the table. (Lilic (talk) 00:34, 7 October 2015 (UTC)).

I would say strictly "left/right" is probably bad, but for people outside of Canada or who don't know much about it's politics, it's helpful to have a column with the main brand of politics each party falls under. LaSeandre (talk) 13:57, 9 October 2015 (UTC)

NDP is traditionally leftist, but since Mulcair came to power it is centrist. Yet some people would freak out and claim that they are far left. Likewise, the liberals are a center right party, yet are often mislabled as leftist. (Lilic (talk) 00:13, 10 October 2015 (UTC)).

Party Column Heading[edit]

Should Party be changed to Affiliation? It would be more inclusive but I'm not sure the improvement would be sufficient given that the next column is Party leader. G. Timothy Walton (talk) 17:40, 8 October 2015 (UTC)
