Lines[edit]

Essendine & Bourne predated Bourne & sleaford - see http://www.pastscape.org.uk/hob.aspx?hob_id=1365423 and http://www.pastscape.org.uk/hob.aspx?hob_id=1365418 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Robert EA Harvey (talkcontribs) 06:50, 15 December 2010 (UTC)

The name of the railway was Bourne and Essendine Railway (Awdry (p. 119) has it as inc. 12 Aug 1857, opd. 16 June 1860). That aside, the template is not intended to be chronological, but approximately geographical, with north at the top. --Redrose64 (talk) 13:51, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
