The civil and state flag of Romania between 1867 and 1948 was identical to the current flag. Only the battle/war ensign and the princial/royal standard had the country's coat of arms. --Alex:Dan (talk) 17:31, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Also, between 1948 and 1989 there had been 3 flags of Romania, as there had been 3 emblems in use:
Fixed I have updated the template to reflect this. We still need to update instances where the old 1867 and 1947 flag selector labels are used. — Andrwsc (talk · contribs) 21:42, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
I've updated the png flags with svg ones, can someone modify this in the template? --Alex:Dan (talk) 22:59, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Flag of Romania (1965-1989).svg[edit]

{{editprotected}} Please replace the '47 flag with Flag of Romania (1965-1989).svg. Thanks. Siebrand (talk) 06:56, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Just a moment, in 1947 there was no communist flag yet (especially one created in 1965!!!), just the normal one. The first communist flag was established on January 8, 1948, however it was never used, nor that coat of arms. So, the first communist flag used was the first one above here (established March 28, 1948). --Alex:Dan (talk) 19:07, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Request edit for related templates[edit]

Template {{Country data Kingdom of Romania}} links here, but the opposite is not true. Is it possible that a privileged editor be so kind as to add " | related1 = Kingdom of Romania " to the template code, somewhere in the second noinclude section? Place Clichy (talk) 12:22, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
