Template size[edit]

This thing's HUGE! Do we really need all that text and such a large picture? —Slicing (talk) 16:27, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've reduced the picture size and taken out some of the text - do you think it looks better? I realise that it is still a little on the large side (although not as big as some that I have seen!) but its sort of important to make those points about civility and edit warring because we've been having a lot of problems on Cornwall pages with edit clashes, and people not following basic courtesy. These rarely seem to lead to an amicable solution and get quite nasty! take care Mammal4 18:56, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Mammal4, I had some similar comments about the size of a Carrick template I had started to use. I have now squashed it down a little and now looks like this.
(I get the feeling that less - is more :) Talskiddy 15:29, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, The template comments were to do with the wikiproject template, not the parish navigators, which are no bigger in size than the district navigator on the Cornwall page, so I would just ignore the comments. There is no point in squezing the information up into a too small space! Mammal4 18:52, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

On balance I would say the box looks better with one flag/map in each corner, rather than three flags plus a map which is a bit cluttered - what do you think? we should keep to a constant template for each district whatever we decide Mammal4 18:54, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
