"you" and "I"[edit]

I've added "you" and "I" in parentheses behind second-person and first-person to make it clearer. I know it's not always quite correct (second-person could be imperative e.g.), but I think it's still better because of the added clarity. -- Ddxc (talk) 06:20, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Remove "excessively"[edit]

The default says "inapproriately or excessively". The latter seems redundant (if it's excessive, then it's already inappropriate). I'll change the default to simply say "inapproriately" for terseness unless there are objections. -- Ddxc (talk) 03:11, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposal to applying a copy editing maintenance category to this template[edit]

Please see this discussion, which proposes to add Category:All articles needing copy edit to articles that transclude this template. The Guild of Copy Editors is very active, so articles tagged with this template would typically be taken care of within a couple of months. – Jonesey95 (talk) 02:19, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
