Removing sydney shooting

[edit]

No reference establishes ISIL co-ordination or any involvement. See article 2014 Sydney hostage crisis and the talk page calling for tags "terrorism" not to be applied to article without consensus. -- Callinus (talk) 11:17, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Curtis culwell attack

[edit]

Curtis Culwell Center attack has a section on ISIL claims, which have no evidence supporting them. Removing. -- Callinus (talk) 11:21, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Media of ISIL

[edit]

I think their should be a new section for media in this infobox. Including Amaq News Agency, Dabiq, Dar al-Islam, Konstantiniyye, Istok, Rumiyah, and Al-Bayan. Perhaps also including notable individuals who have produced media for ISIL such as Ahlam al-Nasr (this may also include Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary but I am unsure if he ever produced music for the organization). Sunomi64 (talk) 17:48, 21 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like a good idea, we should separate content which was made by ISIL and content about ISIL as well.★Trekker (talk) 18:07, 21 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. 'ISIL media' vs 'ISIL in the media'. I brought up my original point because it was weird to me that most of their media outlets weren't mentioned in the infobox, especially given that they seem to be their main way of communicating with outsiders. Also, thanks for a timely reaponse. Lack of communication and negative communication are big contributors to why I don't edit Wikipedia much. Sunomi64 (talk) 18:29, 21 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 10 May 2019: Abu Sayyaf bombing in Jolo Church. Isn't Abu Sayyaf now ISIS branch?

[edit]

2019 Jolo Cathedral bombings could be included? It is something ISIS-like, especially Abu Sayyaf has joined ISIS. 113.20.98.218 (talk) 09:57, 10 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
