Template may be premature[edit]

Some of the albums and songs listed here may not exist, or if they do exist, reliable sources proving they exist are hard to come by. I've already WP:PRODded Dancing To A Different Beat and Different Beat since a quick search of the web turned up no evidence either one had been released or had a definite release date. As such, this template should be deleted for now and/or stripped of those songs. They can always be added back later. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 03:08, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Blue-linking songs and albums[edit]

The songs and albums should not be wikilinked until they are notable enough to have their own articles and stand-alone articles are created. There is already a wikilink to Michelle McManus in the template. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 21:57, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Likewise, songs and albums should not be added to the template until they exist or have a firm release schedule. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 06:58, 31 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protection[edit]

I requested semi-protection because various IP and new-account editors are repeatedly adding material that is not appropriate for this type of template. Sockpuppetry to evade existing blocks is suspected.

Only albums and songs which actually exist or which have firm release schedules should be added. Do not wikilink anything unless the corresponding article actually exists, redlinks will be de-wikilinked.

If you need to make an edit and cannot do so, make a comment here and put {{editsemiprotected}} at the start of your comment. Those of us watching this template will see your request. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 01:38, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Note: Request to semi-protect this was declined with the note "If it gets worse, relist your request." I hope it never comes to that. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 01:48, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
