Quest for the image[edit]

As Jonas Karlsson pointed out at the RPG WikiProject, we could need a nice image for the stub template. I think easiest would be to make one by ourselves, but I'm not at all gifted in drawing, so I can only help by contributing ideas. I think what we need is some cliché related to RPGs. What comes to my mind is dice. Preferably not a six sided dice, but a more exotic one, that is not needed for normal games. Personally I'd prefer a 10-sided die. -- Genesis 19:50, 19 January 2006 (UTC)

Once, long ago, there was a suitably-sized d20 image... I think it may hav ebeen use I wonder what happened to that? I notice that Template:D&D-stub has 2d6, which (to my mind) isn't very D&D, either. Looking in commons:Category:Dice I find commons:Image:Würfel W20 Schwarz.png looks about right. Yeah, not bad. I was rather thinking of a drawn one though, as it would, at such a small size as we need it, be hard to make out details. I thought of something like Category:Wikipedians_interested_in_pen-and-paper_games, but with a d10 or d20 -- Genesis 01:38, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
I'll add a picture I just took myself. I'll also link to the project in the stub, like they do in philosophy stubs. (Edit: I changed my mind, it still links to the RPG article). Tell me what you think. Jonas Karlsson 17:09, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
I like it! Percy Snoodle 18:45, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
