Merge proposal discussion[edit]

The Spider-Man in popular media template has television, film, theatre, actors, newspaper strip, theme park attractions, parodies, and video games. So the Spider-Man video games template is already a part of the in popular media template. Why keep them as separate templates? Spidey104contribs 20:05, 15 September 2010 (UTC)

I support it.-5- (talk) 01:07, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

  • It may be worth see if WikiProject Video Game has a preferred format since {{Spider-Man video games}} notes year of release not platform. Also note that there is {{Spider-Man film series}}. It may be worth removing the video game and film sections here and add a line for "Expanded topics" to link to Spider-Man film series and Spider-Man video games.
On a slightly related note... Base on consensus from Actors, the "Actors" section needs to be removed. - J Greb (talk) 01:20, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
    • It's been a week, so I'm going to go ahead and redirect Template: Spider-Man video games to this template based on the consensus. If there is any objection, it can be discussed here.-5- (talk) 20:22, 23 September 2010 (UTC)
      • I mos def object and it does not appear that a consensus has been reached. Beast from da East (talk) 20:24, 18 October 2010 (UTC)

Even with your grammatically horrible objection there is still a consensus of 3 to one. Please stop reverting the edits. It is counter-productive and you can be blocked for edit warring. Thank you. Spidey104contribs 13:14, 19 October 2010 (UTC)

  • J Greb never said he supported it. We already have the Spider-Man film series template and we should have the video game template. Beast from da East (talk) 17:53, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
