unauthorised[edit]

ICL is "unauthorised"? Unauthorised by who? Maybe it should be called private, I am changing it to that for now. --ti 22:45, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well its unauthorised by the ICC, but Private works just as well I guess Mattlore (talk) 04:27, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
True, but Wikipedia and the outside world have not "authorised" the IPL either. --ti 17:44, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Professional?[edit]

Why is only the IPL deemed to be "professional" when all or most of the domestic competitions listed are contested by full-time cricketers? 118.208.219.125 (talk) 09:23, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Private[edit]

Perhaps "Not ICC sanctioned" would be a better description. It is not as if the ICC affiliated boards are publicly owned or controlled. 118.208.219.125 (talk) 09:28, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

West Indies, Pakistan and East Africa[edit]

I propose that the Caribbean T20, Pakistan Premier League and East Africa Premier League should be in a separate section called 'Regional Leagues'. This is because they have teams that are not from one country so they do not belong in the 'Domestic' section, and they are not truly 'International'.
