Group names[edit]

Due to euro 2020 regulations, groups are expected to be named 1-10 rather than by letters a-j Mijo34 (talk) 19:48, 27 March 2018 (UTC)

Estonia may qualify to playoffs if these teams qualify directly: Group A: best of Bulgaria/Montenegro Group B: Serbia Group E: Hungary Group F: Israel Group G: Romania and Norway Group H: Albania Group I: best of Scotland/Cyprus Group J: best of Finland/Greece

So Estonia should receive status Y And Lithuania should receive status Z, because at least 4 teams from league C, except for Lithuania fail to qualify directly: Group A: worst of Bulgaria/Montenegro Group C: Estonia Group I: worst of Scotland/Cyprus Group J: worst of Finland/Greece 2A00:1370:8114:23C6:D9A4:D899:4692:9A4F (talk) 08:17, 11 September 2019 (UTC)

Isn't Israel in Group G? (talk) 11:41, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
We arrived at pretty much the same time, so done. Piriprimey (talk) 13:09, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
I had to remove the Z from Lithuania because 19 teams between League B/C could qualify directly. Stigni (talk) 20:11, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
It's impossible for two of Czech Republic, Montenegro and Bulgaria to qualify from Group A, and Estonia cannot qualify from Group C, so at most 18 can qualify. --Theurgist (talk) 21:31, 14 September 2019 (UTC)
Wouldn't Slovenia also not be able to secure playoffs either, since only one of them or Israel can qualify out of Group G? Jalen D. Folf (talk) 04:28, 17 September 2019 (UTC)
@JalenFolf: In fact Slovenia was discussed at length in Talk:UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying play-offs. It is still possible that a sufficient number of teams from Leagues B and C that are ranked above Slovenia (second-to-last in League C) will qualify directly, so it can be in the play-offs. On the other hand, Lithuania (last in League C) cannot. --Theurgist (talk) 00:06, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
