I-93/US-1/MA-3/Old Colony Lines/Red Line (MBTA) Inclusion[edit]

@Pi.1415926535: Mere proximity is not why I included them. I included them because the train routes and freeways transport large volumes of human traffic to and from the campus via their connections with the JFK/UMass station and Morrissey Boulevard. -- CommonKnowledgeCreator (talk) 16:39, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@CommonKnowledgeCreator: Please see WP:NAVBOX. These articles do not meet criteria 1, 2, 3, and 5 of the list. A station, line, or highway is only reasonable to include in a navbox when the subject is a primary destination. Thus, Morrissey Boulevard and JFK/UMass are reasonable to include here, but I-93/US-1/MA-3/Old Colony Lines/Red Line are not. Similarily, {{Boston Bruins}} includes North Station (literally located inside the arena), but not the transit lines that stop there. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 16:45, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Pi.1415926535: Criterion 1 of WP:NAVBOX is non-specific as to what qualifies as "related" and criterion 5 simply stipulates that the links should be included in a See also section of an article in the absence of a navbox template, so I disagree that those criteria are not met but concede on criteria 2 and 3 as the highway and MBTA line articles don't mention the university. -- CommonKnowledgeCreator (talk) 17:23, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
