Why so complex and so thick?[edit]

It seems to me that there's too much going on with this template. The "NB" statement and task list are unnecessary. And the small parameter makes it incompatible with other project templates. Also, it would be more helpful if usage was displayed on the template page rather than the template talk. I appreciate the work, but it might have been a good idea to consult project members first. The small parameter is set on the talk page. If you don't like it on Talk:Kentucky, then change it there (but change the note above that gives that page as an example of its use).
I'll remove the nota bene.
The task list option is there if you need it. The project does not currently seem to have a task list template. If others agree to delete that section, go ahead. I left it there so the option would be available.
I was asked to make this stuff. I apologize for not consulting you. :-(

whoa! fix! fix![edit]
