Project banner usage[edit]

The {{Numismaticnotice}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax is as follows:

{{Numismaticnotice
|class=
|importance=
|attention=
}}

General parameters:

  • class – a rating of the article's quality; see the assessment department for more details.
  • importance – a rating of the article's importance; see the assessment department for more details.
  • attention – "yes" if the article requires immediate attention; this should be used sparingly.

To avoid needlessly cluttering up talk pages, it is usually appropriate to remove any unused parameters from the template.

Placement[edit]

Glad to see the numismatics project up and running again, but templates like this, with meta-information, should go on the talk pages, not the articles themselves. –Hajor 21:18, 13 October 2005 (UTC)

I accidentally hit Enter before finishing my edit summary on this edit. I'd meant to write: "Add 'please' text back in". jareha (comments) 08:27, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

Cryptocurrency task force[edit]

Can someone add a cryptocurrency task force to this template? TheMagikCow (talk) 10:04, 28 January 2015 (UTC)

@TheMagikCow: Have a look at this sandbox edit. You may want to alter the image and the categories. Also, if you don't want the class assessments to be picked up by the Cryptocurrency task force, remove the line |TF_1_QUALITY=yes and if you don't want a separate importance assessment, remove the line |tf 1 importance={{{cryptocurrency-importance|}}} If you remove both, you can also remove the line |TF_1_ASSESSMENT_CAT=Cryptocurrency articles. --Redrose64 (talk) 14:42, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
