Caramelized pork and eggs[1] (Vietnamese: Thịt kho tàu) is a Vietnamese traditional food[2] consisting of marinated pork and boiled eggs braised in coconut juice.

Although it is a normal everyday dish, in southern Vietnam[3] it is one of the traditional foods during Tết[4] (or Lunar New Year). Before the dish is served for general consumption, the dish is offered to deceased ancestors or family members[5] on altars.

In Vietnam, rice is commonly served along with the dish.[6]
