The Album is the debut album by The Federation, released on October 5, 2004 through Virgin Records. The Album was entirely produced by the group's founder, Rick Rock.

Despite being released for a major label, The Album was poorly promoted and was a commercial failure, just managing to reach the bottom of the Billboard 200 at No. 200. The album's two singles, "Go Dumb" and "Hyphy", also failed to find much success, only reaching 95 and 88 respectively on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
