The Open Window Institute for Arts and Digital Sciences (formerly the Open Window School of Visual Communication) is an accredited private higher education provider. It was established in 1993 as an art school. It has since expanded into an institute offering the three bachelor's degrees:

Three-year BA Visual Communication Design and four-year Honours degrees include s mix of practical work, critical and creative thinking, as well as research. All qualifications are accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE) and are registered with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Various One Year Programmes, Short Learning Programmes and Short Courses form part of the offering.
