The President's Man is a made-for-TV action movie released in 2000, and starring Chuck Norris and Dylan Neal. A sequel, The President's Man: A Line in the Sand was made in 2002.

Despite a popular misconception, it has no connection to All the President's Men.

Plot

Joshua McCord is ready to think about retiring from his grueling job as a Secret Service agent who's assigned to protect the president. After saving the First Lady, kidnapped by a mysterious band of terrorists, McCord prepares to train his replacement.

Production

The filming of The President's Man were filmed by the November 30, 1999 to March 21, 2000, entirely Dallas (Texas), with a budget of 20,000,000 U.S. dollars. The film was released in the USA April 2, 2000, and months after it was released on DVD in other countries including France, England and Argentina. In Italy it was released in the first TV in 2001, A sequel called The President's Man: A Line in the Sand was filmed in 2002.
