Thieves Like Us is a Swedish-American band.
The band's music is mostly electronic and is also influenced by the krautrock, Italo disco, glam punk, post-punk, French touch and hip-hop genres. Thieves Like Us consider themselves a pop group.[3]
Swedes Pontus Berghe (drums) and Björn Berglund (keyboards) met the American Andy Grier (vocals) in Berlin's Mauerpark in 2002.[4] They started DJing together, and eventually produced their own electronic music. Since 2002, they have lived together in London, Paris, and New York. They were discovered by the French imprint Kitsuné who released their first single, "Drugs In My Body" in 2007.
2008's "Play Music", their first album released under Shelflife Records, was recorded in Berlin, London, New York City and Stockholm.[5] Their second release, "Again & Again" was released in 2010.
