Three Seconds is an upcoming British action crime thriller film based on the novel of the same name by Roslund/Hellström.[2] This film adaptation was directed by Andrea Di Stefano and written by Matt Cook and stars Joel Kinnaman, Rosamund Pike, Clive Owen, Common and Ana de Armas.[3][4][5]


Pete Koslow, a reformed criminal and former special operations soldier, is working undercover for crooked FBI handlers to infiltrate the Polish mob's drug trade in New York. In a final step toward freedom, Koslow must return to the one place he's fought so hard to leave, Bale Hill Prison, where his mission becomes a race against time when a drug deal goes wrong and threatens to identify him as a mole.



The film adaption was announced at the Film Festival in Cannes 2017.[6]


Three Seconds is scheduled to be released on 22 March 2019 by Aviron Pictures in North America.[7]
