Thulla Point (60°43′S 45°40′W / 60.717°S 45.667°W / -60.717; -45.667) is an ice-free point lying 1 nautical mile (1.9 km) northeast of Jebsen Point on the west coast of Signy Island, in the South Orkney Islands. Roughly surveyed in 1933 by DI personnel, and surveyed in 1947 by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS). Named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) in 1954 for the Norwegian steamship Thulla, which searched for suitable anchorages for whale factory ships in the South Orkney Islands in 1911-12.
