Tigertown, Texas
Tigertown, also known as Tiger Point, was an unincorporated community in Washington County, Texas. It was approximately located at the intersection of Farm to Market Road 109 and County Road 3456, about 6 miles from Brenham. [1]
History
Tigertown was founded before the Texas Revolution. Someone in the area named the town Tigertown because some men acted like tigers. It had a post office by the 1850's, but nothing remained of the town by 1900. Today, a farm stands on where Tigertown existed.[2]
