Tipton is a census-designated place (CDP) in Blair County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,083 at the 2010 census. It is well known for its amusement park, DelGrosso's, formerly known as Bland's Park. It was a stop on the former Pennsylvania Railroad Main Line between Tyrone and Altoona.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.9 square miles (4.9 km2), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,225 people, 463 households, and 356 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 663.9 people per square mile (255.7/km²). There were 478 housing units at an average density of 259.1/sq mi (99.8/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 99.10% White, 0.16% African American, 0.41% Native American, and 0.33% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.33% of the population.
There were 463 households out of which 33.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.4% were married couples living together, 5.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.1% were non-families. 19.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.65 and the average family size was 3.03.
In the CDP the population was spread out with 23.8% under the age of 18, 7.3% from 18 to 24, 28.7% from 25 to 44, 25.0% from 45 to 64, and 15.2% who were 65 years of age or older.
