The Winter Tour was a concert tour by American progressive rock band Tool.[2] The band officially announced the shows, on December 16, 2011,[3] and two more shows added, on December 20, 2011.[4]

Intronaut have officially confirmed that they will be opening for Tool on the first half of the latter’s early 2012 tour. The band will serve as openers from January 14th through to January 26th; after which YOB will replace them on the bill.[5]

Even though the tour had no official name it was referred to as "The Winter Tour" on the band's FaceBook page.
