Troq chai (Urdu for "black tea"), also known as Chitrali chai, is a preparation of tea drunk in Pakistan in which salt, together with lemon, is boiled with the tea. This tea is common in Chitral, and Kalash valleys of Pakistan. It is costlier than regular tea, which is water-based.
