Tunnel (Hangul터널; RRTeoneol) is a 2017 South Korean television series starring Choi Jin-hyuk, Yoon Hyun-min and Lee Yoo-young.[1][2] It replaced Voice and aired on cable network OCN every Saturdays and Sundays at 22:00 (KST) from March 25 to May 21, 2017 for 16 episodes.[3] The series was inspired by the Hwaseong serial murders.[4]

The series was a hit in China.[5]

Women Mass Murder Case at Hwayang in 1985–1986 (Eps 1–2)[edit]

Main perpetrator. As a high school student, he was suspected of killing six women. His murders actually began with his wife. He kills in the same modus operandi as Mok Jin-woo and at the same time in 2016 which is why all the murders are first thought to be perpetrated by him. Witnessed the murder of Seo Yi-soo, which is here his modus operandi came from.
