The Field Elm cultivar Ulmus minor 'Amplifolia' was first described (as U. foliacaea var. amplifolia) in Meded. Comite Best. Bestr. Iepenz. 10: 9 1932 and originally raised at Hesse's Nurseries, Weener, Germany.

Description[edit]

The tree was said to have very short internodes with crowded leaves.[1]

Cultivation[edit]

No specimens are known to survive.
