The Wych Elm cultivar Ulmus glabra 'Holgeri' originated in Sweden.[1][2]

Description[edit]

'Holgeri' was described by Holger Jensen in 1921 as having very strong growth, straight and sturdy, with beautiful dark green leaves.[1]

Cultivation[edit]

No specimens are known to survive, though wych elms matching the description sometimes occur in Edinburgh park and avenue plantings[citation needed].
