Manas Sahoo is an Indian filmmaker and director, known for his works predominantly in Odia Films. His works include Voice of Silence (2012), The Tale of Kol-Lohar (2013),[1] The Poem of the Needle (2014), Ranga Trushna (2015) and Antarleen (2015). In 2012, he started his own Production House by the name “Maskman Films”. He has won many accolades like National Scholarship and Rang Pratibha Award from National Sangeet Natak Academy, Government of India, New Delhi as the best Theatre Director for his famous English Play ‘No-Exit’. He received the best Artistic Picturization and Direction Award, from Lalit Kala Academy for his film ‘Voice Of Silence’. His Documentary Film ‘The Tale of Kol- Lohar’ won the State Film Award for Best Film and Best Director. He also received a Special Jury Mention in JDCA Film Forum for his film ‘The Poem Of The Needle’. His Film Antarleen, a one of its kind film, revolving around the life of an Autistic person from his own point of view, received the State Award for Best Acting.

In 2012, he started Maskman Films, a production company. He is married to Alina Samal, a partner in true sense, who supported him throughout especially in script writing and became a good script writer and a good critic, which truly strengthened him.
