Emma Harrison Emma Harrison is a British Entrepreneur. She is the chairman owner and founder of [A4e]. A Graduate Engineer (LETTERS BSc ENG) she has received Honorary Doctorates from the University of Derby and the University of Bradford.

Business Career Emma founded A4e in 1991 and now employs 4000 staff across 250 centres worldwide – they are the principal supplier and Prime Contractor to Governments of services such as the Flexible New Deal, Legal Aid Helpline, Social care, Education for Offenders, Business Enterprise, Youth Vocational centres. She supported local communities in Series 1 of [Channel 4]’s [‘Secret Millionaire’] Voluntary Work Emma was the Chairman of the [NSPCC Full Stop Appeal] for all the regions of the country. Raising £57m. In addition she sat on the National Appeal Board. She and her companies are Patrons of the appeal. Emma stepped down from this role in 2007 having successfully raised the target of £250m.

Emma also established and funds the Foundation for Social Improvement (the FSI). Personal Life Emma is married to Jim Harrison. They have four children and have homes in [Thornbridge Hall], Derbyshire and London.
