Jonathan Costa (born 24 February 1981) is a Gibraltarian age 36 who currently runs the operations of a Job Board called Gibwork.


Jonathan Costa was born on the 24 February 1981 in the Old St Bernard's Hospital in Gibraltar. His mother, Michelle Costa, worked in the gaming history in the late 1990s, and his father, Alvaro Costa was a carpenter. Jonathan has two younger sisters, Lizette and Suzanne, and a younger brother, David.

Jonathan started a non-profit organisation on 22 February 2012 called Gibwork,[2] an online to tool offering users search for job vacancies online.

Working background[edit]

Jonathan had joined the Royal Gibraltar Regiment as an infantry soldier, and served for 10 years (1998 - 2008). He later went to join as a Product Manager.[3]. After leaving the Gaming industry in 2012, he continued to work on Gibwork till date.
