Eastern Plaguelands is an area in Blizzard's MMORPG World of Warcraft located on a continent named Eastern Kingdoms. This area is full of undead and is frequent by high level players and farmers alike.

Eastern Plaguelands holds the destroyed town of Darrowshire, the small town of Corin's Crossing, the neutral Argent Dawn outpost of Light's Hope Chapel, Northdale, The Plaguewood and the once-great Human city of Stratholme.

Home of High Elves of Azeroth Quel'Thalas is located north of Eastern Plaguelands although the route to Quel'Thalas is currently being blocked and thus inaccessible for the moment.

The Plaguelands are the sections of the continent Azeroth in the Warcraft Universe which are still controlled by the Scourge. They are divided into eastern and western portions, and are ruled by the powerful lich, Kel'Thuzad.

In the MMORPG game World of Warcraft, the Plaguelands are the current highest level zones on Azeroth (Silithius is the highest on Kalimdor), and players must be level 50+ to even stand a chance against the powerful undead minions that roam the land. The Plaguelands are also home to two of the toughest instances dungeons in the game; Stratholme and Scholomance.
