About Me

Hey there, fellow Wikipedians! I’m Avik, your friendly neighbourhood editor who’s been roaming the digital halls of Wikipedia recently. When I’m not busy I am saving the world with one Wikipedia article at a time, you can find me engaging in highly intellectual activities like binge-watching precipitation or attempting to communicate with my house plants (spoiler alert: they don't talk back).

My Wikipedia Journey

I embarked on this Wikipedia adventure armed with nothing but a keyboard and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. Along the way, I’ve battled misinformation dragons, wrestled with rogue commas, and deciphered ancient texts (also known as my old college notes). My contributions span from the seriously significant to the “Arrey, yeh kya hai?” kind of trivial. Somebody had to make sure that page on the jalebi was accurate, right?

Interests

Education: Always keen on learning and sharing knowledge. From the ancient gurukuls to modern IITs, if it’s about Indian education, I’m all ears. And yes, I can still recite my school assembly prayer. Career: Whether it’s climbing the corporate ladder or starting up a chai stall that goes global, I’m intrigued by all career paths. After all, who doesn’t dream of being the next Dhirubhai Ambani? India: The land of diversity, where every state is a different country. From the peaks of Himalayas to the beaches of Kerala, India’s rich history and culture never cease to amaze me. Jobs: Scouring through Naukri.com like it’s a treasure hunt. Whether it’s the latest government job or the hottest startup gig, I’ve got an eye on it. And yes, I know the struggle of explaining “freelancer” to relatives. Gadgets: From the first brick-like mobile phones to the latest smartphones that can probably make chai, I love exploring new technology. My motto: If it’s got buttons and lights, I’m interested.
