One random happy camper dabbling about in too many fields at once, burrowing down the rabbit hole and pinning down the peculiarities. On a life-long quest for consequential knowledge, abstracted algorithms, parallel patterns, and liberating conclusions. Actually I'm a trans-dimensional space-faring, time-traveling alien spirit from planet Omega-Zeta.
Research on Indic religion with focus on Hinduism since 1995, and on Buddhism and broader oriental tradition since 2007. Practice and field research in India for six years. Worked with Sanskrit, Bengali (and later Pali) source texts since 2002. Active online publishing on related themes since 2000, featuring heaps of write-ups and silly amounts of unpublished research.
I've worked with technology since I was 10 and got my first SVI-728 (MSX) and a pile of books on BASIC programming. Over the years, I've worked plenty with coding and graphic design, landing with a focus on custom frameworks and applications — media libraries, content management systems, community solutions, text repositories, advanced search databases, language analysis, and more. In an earlier incarnation, with an account now long gone and buried, I worked a bunch on themes related with Hinduism and Indic religions both in English and in Finnish. At present I prefer to limit myself to occasional corrections, as I find the recurring and tedious edit wars wasting an abundance of time and energy that could be put to a more productive use. [why?] [who said this?]
